Type AB LED tubes, previously referred to as Type D, are LED linear lamps designed for compatibility with fluorescent ballast bypass and/or direct operation. Occasionally dubbed as combo or magic tubes, these A+B tubes can function with or without a ballast. Their primary advantages include enhanced safety and adaptability.
