The right number depends on tree size, tree width, and your desired coverage. As a quick guide, a 7.5 ft tree that is 60 in wide typically looks complete with 120–220 ornaments using a balanced mix of 2.75–4 in sizes and a few 6–12 in accents. For a lush, magazine-style look, choose Full or Luxe coverage in the calculator above.
