This 2x2 emergency back-lit LED panel light combines five selectable wattage settings, five selectable color temperatures and a factory-installed 8W emergency driver in one contractor-ready ceiling fixture. During normal operation, the panel can be set to 20W, 25W, 30W, 35W or 40W and 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K or 6500K. If normal power is lost, the emergency system provides a minimum 90-minute runtime at a nominal calculated output of 1,040 lumens. Factory-Installed 8W Emergency Driver
The emergency driver is installed before the fixture ships, reducing field labor and eliminating the need to select, mount and wire a separate emergency system. The emergency components are integrated with the panel and include the required test switch and charging indicator.
When normal power is interrupted, the emergency driver operates the LED panel at 8 watts for a minimum of 90 minutes. Based on the panel's listed maximum efficacy of 130 lm/W, the nominal calculated emergency output is approximately 1,040 lumens.
Emergency Testing and Charging Indicator
The included test switch allows maintenance personnel to simulate a power failure and verify emergency operation. The charging indicator provides a visible status reference for the emergency system. Follow the applicable inspection schedule and local emergency-lighting requirements after installation.
Allow up to 24 hours for the emergency battery system to reach a full charge before completing the initial full-duration emergency test.
Five Selectable Wattage Settings
Switch 1 sets the panel to 20W, 25W, 30W, 35W or 40W during normal operation. Contractors can use one fixture for several room types and adjust the connected load and light output during installation without ordering separate wattage-specific models.
The lower settings can be used in smaller rooms or areas requiring reduced light output. The 40W setting provides the highest normal operating output for larger rooms and higher ambient-light requirements.
Five Selectable Color Temperatures
Switch 2 selects 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, 5000K or 6500K. This allows the panel to match different project specifications, existing fixtures and room functions without changing the complete luminaire.
Select 3000K or 3500K for a warmer appearance, 4000K for a balanced commercial white, 5000K for a daylight appearance or 6500K for the coolest available setting. Confirm the project specification before commissioning the fixture.
Uniform Back-Lit Illumination
The back-lit optical system uses a PMMA lens and polystyrene diffuser to distribute light evenly across the panel face. This construction is designed to reduce hot spots, visible shadows and uncomfortable glare in classrooms, offices, healthcare spaces and other occupied interiors.
0-10V Dimming
The panel supports 0-10V dimming with compatible controls. The purple dimming lead connects to dim positive, and the pink dimming lead connects to dim negative. Dimming controls and low-voltage control wiring are not included unless specifically stated.
Optional Motion and Bluetooth Controls
The panel is compatible with optional plug-and-play microwave motion sensors and Bluetooth-enabled controls. Available control functions may include occupancy detection, daylight response, standby dimming, scheduling, high-end trim and energy monitoring. Installation
Installation must be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code, UL 924 requirements and applicable local codes. Disconnect normal and emergency power before installation or service.
Place the fixture into the conventional ceiling grid, connect line, neutral and ground conductors, and connect the 0-10V dimming leads when required. Complete all emergency-driver connections according to the supplied wiring instructions. Set the normal wattage and CCT switches before completing installation.
After power is applied, confirm that the charging indicator is operating. Allow the emergency battery to charge for 24 hours before completing a full 90-minute discharge test.
