I am looking for replacement lamps for portable light towers, the numbers on the bulbs are as follows; 1000W, M47/E, R, MH1000/U/MOG. The tip of the bulb when installed is supported by a wire spider, the bulb diameter at the tip needs to be 2.25" This dimension is not listed in the specs and would like to be sure before ordering any bulbs. Is SKU PR-1028 Correct?

Based off the information you provided we can only state the PR-1028 item will operate off the same ballast that is running your current lamp based off the ANSI code of M47/E.

Any ballast that shows it has an ANSI code of M47 is compatible with this lamp. I have provided a link below which shows a few compatible ballasts to use with this lamp.
