Modern Hallway Light with Battery Backup for Power Outages | 90 Minute Emergency Mode | ADA Compliant | 120-277V
Black decorative emergency low profile wall sconce from the Incon 216 Bethany series adds a battery backup to an ADA compliant LED sconce with clean, neutral trim lines, so a hallway stays lit during a power failure without a utility-style emergency unit. In normal operation the 15W integrated LED delivers 1500 lumens at 90 CRI with field-selectable wattage and color temperature; in emergency mode it runs a minimum of 90 minutes at approximately 450 lumens.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Incon 21615-15LED-CCT-B3 stay on during a power outage?
Yes. A built-in battery backup takes over automatically when normal power fails and keeps the sconce lit for a minimum of 90 minutes at approximately 450 lumens. Power stays connected to the fixture at all times so the battery remains charged.
How bright is it in normal operation?
At the 15W setting, it puts out 1500 lumens at 90 CRI. For spaces that need less light, the wattage can be lowered to 12W or 8W. Translucent white acrylic at the top and bottom of the fixture adds a soft wash of light up and down the wall.
Can I change the color temperature and wattage?
Yes, both are selectable in the field at installation. Color temperature can be set to 3000K Soft White, 4000K Cool White, or 5000K Daylight, and wattage to 15W, 12W, or 8W. That lets one SKU match the light level and color on different project specs.
Is this sconce ADA compliant?
Yes. The fixture projects only 3.75 inches from the wall. That is within the ADA's 4-inch limit for wall-mounted objects in hallways, corridors, and other accessible routes.
What voltage does it run on?
It accepts 120-277V input, so it can be wired to either 120V/208V/240V/277V commercial lighting circuits.
Can it be installed in damp locations?
Yes. It is UL listed for damp locations, which covers indoor areas with humidity or moisture. It is not listed for wet locations exposed to direct rain or water spray.
What are the dimensions?
11.5 in. wide x 10.3 in. high x 3.75 in. deep. The frame is a black composite, with a white UV-stabilized acrylic lens and a white aluminum back pan.
Does the Bethany sconce come in other finishes?
Yes. The Incon 216 Bethany series is also made with a white frame (21611-15LED-CCT) and a chrome frame (21617-15LED-CCT). All three share the same white lens, 1500-lumen output, and selectable wattage and color temperature, and all three can be ordered with the B3 emergency battery backup.
What is the difference between the 21615-15LED-CCT-B3 and the 21615-15LED-CCT?
The -B3 model adds the emergency battery backup. Otherwise the two are the same fixture. Choose the -B3 for corridors, stairwells, and common areas that need light during a power failure.
Is this fixture made in the USA?
The Incon 216 Bethany sconce is made in the USA from U.S. and imported components. It is Buy American Act compliant, which makes it a fit for federally funded and government projects.
What is the warranty, and can it be returned?
It carries a 5-year warranty. Because of the emergency battery, battery-backup fixtures are non-returnable, but all warranties are honored.
How fast does it ship?
It is a quick-ship, built-to-order item that typically ships in 1 to 2 business days. Larger quantities may take longer, and you will be notified by email if your order will take more than 5 business days to ship.
Is it UL 924 listed for code-required emergency egress lighting?
Yes. It is ETL listed and conforms to UL 924, the safety standard for emergency lighting equipment, so it can be used for emergency egress lighting in corridors, stairwells, and common areas. Confirm fixture spacing against your local code and photometric layout.
