The Halco Prolume LU250/SBY/LL 64507 standby 250W HPS lamps are designed with a dual arc, so if power is interrupted, the secondary arc tube starts immediately. The added benefit to the second arc tubes is that the average life is doubled by sharing the work (48,000 hrs versus 24,000 hrs). Longer life coupled with Halco's High Pressure Sodium reliability means fewer lamp changes and lowered maintenance costs.
