The TCP 227454PK Battery Backup LED Exit Sign with Green Letters is a pack of four emergency exit lights that are reliable and efficient. The housing is made of injection-molded thermoplastic ABS with a UL 94V-0 flame rating and a snap-together design for easy installation. The replaceable directional chevron inserts and 6” green letters with a 3/4” stroke make it easy to read. The double face configuration allows for universal mounting on walls, sides, or ceilings. The LED lamps mounted on a printed circuit board consume only 2.0 W at 120v and operate in both normal (AC input) and emergency (DC input) modes. The maintenance-free Ni-Cd battery has an estimated service life of 10 years and can withstand temperatures ranging from 10C to 40C. The exit sign is ETL listed for damp locations and meets NFPA 101, NEC, and UL924 approvals. It has a 24-hour recharge time after a 90-minute discharge and a low voltage battery disconnection to prevent deep discharge damage.
