ZYS-P20A is a compact 3-wire LED lighting surge protective device designed to protect LED drivers and luminaires from transient overvoltage events caused by lightning and power surges. Engineered for 100–277V electrical systems, this UL 1449 Type 5 SPD is intended for installation inside LED fixtures or driver compartments, where it provides localized surge protection at the equipment level. Using a parallel connection design, the ZYS-P20A protects across L–N, L–PE, and N–PE modes without carrying load current. Its IP66-rated construction supports reliable operation in outdoor and wet-location environments, making it well suited for roadway, parking, and exterior commercial lighting applications.
