The KHM MST-SPD-480V is a Type 5 surge protection device designed to protect LED fixtures and drivers operating on 277–480V systems. Engineered for outdoor and exposed LED lighting applications, this compact SPD provides fixture-level protection against high-energy transient voltage events caused by lightning strikes, utility switching, and electrical disturbances. Designed to integrate directly within modern LED luminaires, the MST-SPD-480V delivers localized surge protection at the fixture—helping reduce premature LED driver failure and extend luminaire service life.
