The TCP 20B60 Emergency Ballast provides an efficient solution for emergency lighting needs. This fluorescent ballast functions in conjunction with an AC ballast and can convert existing fixtures or new fixtures into emergency lighting when necessary. In the case of a power outage, the 20B60 will automatically switch to the emergency mode and rapidly provide high lumen output with one or two lamps for up to 90 minutes. When power is restored, the ballast automatically changes back to its charging mode. The 20B60 is compatible with a variety of fluorescent lamps ranging from 17W-110W T8-T12 to 18W-50W 4-pin long compact lamps and has initial light output of up to 700 lumens for one or two lamps. If used in an emergency only fixture, no AC ballast is needed.
